Terms of Use

1. Scope & Acceptance

Arcruit is a SaaS service that helps small and medium businesses automate and improve hiring: upload resumes, analyze candidates, run screenings, and export data (the "Services").

By using the Services, you confirm you are the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of yourself or your company. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

The Services are provided by "Arcruit" SIA, a Latvian limited liability company (SIA), registered address Gaiļezera iela 15–6, Rīga, LV-1079, Latvia, registration number 40203656930, VAT LV40203656930 ("Arcruit," "we," "us," or "our").

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, up‑to‑date account and company information.
• Keep credentials confidential and promptly report suspected compromise.
• Use the Services lawfully and for recruitment‑related purposes only.
• Not send spam; not upload unlawful, discriminatory, or infringing content.
• Not probe or bypass security or misuse the Services.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

3. Privacy & Data Protection

We process uploaded resumes and vacancies, user and company details, and limited usage logs to operate and improve the Services. Processing follows the EU GDPR and applicable laws. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

• Controller/Processor. For data you load into the Services, you are the Controller and Arcruit is the Processor. For our website, marketing, and operations, Arcruit is the Controller.
• Your rights. You (and your candidates via you) may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data in line with law.
• Security. We use industry‑standard measures (encryption in transit/at rest, access controls, backups).

AI providers we use.

We rely on third‑party large language models, currently OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Anthropic (Claude). We configure these providers so that your API inputs/outputs are not used to train their foundation models. We do not use your Customer or Candidate Data to train generalized models.

4. Intellectual Property

We and our licensors own the platform and documentation. You own the content and data you upload. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Services and comply with law. No reverse engineering or copying except as permitted by law.

5. Fees

If fees apply (as stated in an Order or pricing page), they are payable as specified and generally non‑refundable except where required by law.

6. Disclaimers & Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation or outcomes.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claims is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email or in‑app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days of a written notice.

Failing settlement, disputes will be submitted to the courts of Rīga, Latvia (or other mandatory courts applicable to consumers under law).
